It functions, but it is somewhat lacking.
The graphics are pretty rough, though this can be easily fixed.
However, Lox and his platform seem much too big for the game area provided.
The game itself is very easy, but I found that it's very easy for bombs to spawn in too quickly to actually have a chance at dodging them in this tight space.
I also saw at least two bombs spawn directly on top of coins, which does not seem intentional.
The sound effects play back very loudly for some reason.
The coin effect is fine, but the background crickets are very repetitive.

Overall, it's a good start, but as a game it's just ok.

Functioning. Hitboxes seem a little off- sometimes the option above or below the image I'm trying to drag over is selected instead.

No idea how the turning star puzzle works, but the story intrigues and the monster is serviceable.

ArcheonMedia responds:

Thanks for your review and glad you enjoyed it. I'll post a walkthrough soon.

Got a decagon my first game, and after a few more reached hendecagon.
Runs smoothly, looks nice, works as intended.
Inclusion of "light mode" is unusual and kind of funny.
(Or maybe I've just been in dark mode too long.)

It's ok, but it controls a bit oddly on mobile.
I also got trapped in an endless loop of being stabbed in the same set of three walk spears and can't find the replay button.

However, I love the art, especially the animation of the bat in flight, and the screech attack is pretty cool ( and on theme, no less.)

Pretty good overall.

Not bad, but full screen does not solve the cutoff problem.
It actually makes it slightly worse. ^ ^;

An alright puzzle game.
Kinda short.

Edit:
Starter selection works well.
Made it to the next map, briefly thought I glitched out, then realized I was just under some trees.

Combat works well, especially the little status effect icons, though it's a bit hard to tell how well I'm doing without any indication of enemy health.

The shops also work, though I also discovered you get stuck in these menus on mobile as well, as I have apparently learned nothing from my previous experiences.

I also have no idea how Tikbalang joined my party, but I'm not about to complain about a free healer.

Previous (Old) comments:
Got stuck on the options menu on mobile as there's no back button, which is probably my fault for trying to play it on mobile.

Graphics are nice, but they are the default MV graphics.

More importantly, the second map is not connected to anything at the bottom, meaning I can't actually progress to where the gameplay is at this time.

I don't know if my trying to enter the treehouse glitched it out or something, but clearly something is a bit off with the teleport commands connecting the maps together.

It would also be nice if the "starter selection" asked you to confirm before locking you into your choice, and if an image of some sort (even if it's just a "hint") to show what your selection would look like would be nice too.

Fixing the missing map exit should be top priority though, as it completely cuts off progression.

Cprecaution responds:

Thanks for the review!

The map is not default graphics though, it's a DLC: FSM, I'm currently working on my own tileset but it's a little hard to do.

If you want to play some more, progressing from the second map, you have enter the bottom left side. Sorry if it's confusing! I'll take note of it and make the map layout clearer.

I like it- couldn't get past 3 on my tablet cause it wouldn't drag for some reason, though. ^ ^;

Good puzzle game.
I quite like it.

Just a Jersey girl drawing things.
I'm currently working on my comic, Dreamtamers, as well as other things. ^ ^
